MUDDY MAMA

I, Muddy Mama, or Jess, am a Southwest Florida based photographer, born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains.
I moved to Southwest Florida in Summer 2016, and I've had so many adventures since.
I love visiting national parks and historical sites anywhere I go, and my camera is always my sidekick.

I was always interested in trucks and cars, even as a kid. My dad is a long haul trucker, so it was never a quiet weekend in the basement. I remember this old Chevy he had restored in there, and as a kid, I would dream about driving it around town, just cruisin'.
I came down to Southwest Florida for vacation for a few years before I moved here, and on one of those trips, I was invited to attend a local truck pull event.
When I arrived, it was nothing like what my small-town mind was accustomed to. There are enormous trucks everywhere, lined up, some with engines running idle, others silent. The fun started when they got roped up and ready to pull.

My interest started there, and has therefore created and sparked a passion that I can share with everyone.
I make it a mission of mine to showcase the reality behind the scenes of these big trucks and tough guys. I want people to appreciate the hard work and long hours that these men and women put into each of these builds. They don't only do it for themselves, but they do it for their families, for US.

This is my way of giving back to them, one jump at a time.

Stay dirty,
